Redeemer Lutheran Church Mission
The mission of Redeemer Lutheran Church is to be a beacon of hope to residents of the Harrison Neighborhood, to the people of North Minneapolis, and for the greater church around the world.
Located in the heart of the Harrison Neighborhood, Redeemer Lutheran Church engages in community-based ministry. As an extension of its ministry, the church, along with help and involvement from our suburban partner congregations, formed the Redeemer Center for Life in 1998 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
As a member of the North Minneapolis Harrison Neighborhood since 1909, Redeemer Lutheran Church seeks to be a faithful witness to the love of Jesus Christ for all people, and is recognized by the community as a safe and caring place for area residents, especially children and youth.
In partnership, Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Redeemer Center for Life serve the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the community through youth programming, affordable housing, educational programming, and faith-based activities.
