THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 18th: COMMEMORATING JUNETEENTH and the EMANUEL NINE
Join us this Sunday morning for a worship service celebrating Juneteenth and commemorating the Emanuel Nine who were murdered by a self-professed white supremacist while they were gathered for Bible study and Prayer at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church (Mother Emanuel) in Charleston, South Carolina. As a church, we are called to confess the sin of racism, condemn the ideology of white supremacy, and strive for racial justice and peace. More than just statements and prayers, we are called to act and respond to injustices. We invite you to learn more about the Emanuel Nine and take the ELCA Anti-Racism Pledge.
